The Tom Blundell Memorial Four Person Ambrose at the Gloucester Golf Club commemorates a long standing and valued member of the club whose will provided for the building on a wonderful new addition to the clubhouse now known as 'Tom's Bar'.

Saturday May 29 was Tom's Memorial Day for 2021. The full field of 72 golfers was over subscribed weeks in advance of the day itself. Paul Garland and Steve Williams looked after the sponsorship.
Although quite cool with a steady breeze most of the day the big field turned in some very low scores with the top of the leader board very competitive.
The winning team was Paul Benson, Paul Blanch, Craig McLeod and Mark Munro with a very handy net score of 55.63. Runners up were Paul Garland, Steve Williams, Grant Bowden and Glenn Williams, 56, followed by Doug Blanch, Steve Macdonald, A Lenham and L Groves in third place with a score of 56.38 a count back ahead of fourth placed Shane Crichton, Brian McInnes, Dale Rabbett and Roy Crichton. Mick Young, Dave Parish, John Parish and Dave Salmon, 58.75, were fifth ahead of Jamie Andrews, Kyran Laurie, Glenn Wright and Adam Cameron, 58.75, on another count back. Again separated only by a count back in seventh and eighth place respectively on a neat 60 were Mark Howland, Greg West, Alan Andrews and J Laurie, and Michael Higgins, Ryan Yates, James McLeod and B Reynolds. Rob Moore, Gordon Marsh, Mark Garner and Dave Boehme were in ninth place with 60.13 and in tenth place with a net 60.43 were Brad McSwan, T Pitter, Andrew Marsh and S Murray.
Nearest-to-the-Pins were won by Craig McLeod, J Witt and Steve Benson at the 4th and 13th holes and at the 6th and 15th holes Jamie McLeod, Dave Parish and Dale Rabbett did the job. Long drive trophies went to Dave Parish and Jim Bird.
The first Saturday in June sees the regular Monthly Medal an Individual Stroke event in three grades sponsored by the Arkwood family. The following Saturday June 12 there is a "Texas Shootout" sponsored by Barlow Brothers.
The Super Sevens for the week ending Friday May 28 was won by Mark Howland with 17 points; balls were won by Dave Mann 15, Noel Cook 13 and Wayne Maddalena 12.
