Gloucester were in trouble early being well behind on the master board at the halfway mark but lifted their performance in the second stage of the match to finish with a comfortable 66-50 victory on the master board.
The team of Kevin Burley, Gordon Pritchard, Robert Hayes and George Wisemantel had a 27-14 win over their opponents and Kevin Everett, Rob Heininger, Michael Sheely and Nico Duynhoven came from behind to have a 19-13 victory but Mark Groves, Graham Turnbull, Brian Holstein and Peter Jones were narrowly defeated 23-20 by the Palms side.
Player of the series was Kevin Burley, who led his side to victory in every game throughout the season and played great bowls under pressure situations.
The three sides will now travel to Warilla on July 17 and 18 to compete against other clubs in the NSW for a state title. Many thanks to team manager Ken Bryant who controlled the scoring and results every week.
