Both games were very close, with neither side looking like winning until almost the end.
The team of Jill Holstein, Judy Sheely and Di Pritchard defeated Joan Ridgeway, Bev Germon and Pattie West, 16-12.
In the other game, Vera Whatmore's team were leading 16-13 at the 17th end, but Margaret Andrews managed to bowl a firm last bowl to dislodge the bowls surrounding the jack to give her team a win. The final result was Margaret Andrews, Val Pritchard and Colleen Atkins defeated Vera Whatmore, Kerrie Green (sub for Cheryl West) and Di Lockwood, 17-16.
On Wednesday June 9, Jill Holstein's team will play Margaret Andrews' team in the final.
In the two social games, Norma Relf, Jan Jones and Karen Heinegar (swinger) drew 15-all with Jill Everett, Julie Kriss and Karen Heinegar. Also, Lorraine Ratcliffe, Joy Hurworth and Ruth Redman (swinger) defeated Del Buckton, Denise Jutt and Ruth Redman, 11-8.
The spider was won by Joan Ridgeway.
