The day itself was frosty and chilly early opening up to a sunny and quite warm day, ideal for golf in fact. The course itself was in great shape even though it was a little heavy with the rain of the previous week or so. Special "no touchy" playing conditions continue to apply based on recommendation of the State Government and of Golf New South Wales.
The four players in the winning team were Denver Webb, Peter Buettel, Bert Newman and Gary Threadgate with 113 Stableford point in total. Denver and Gary doing the heavy lifting for the team contributing 33 points each. The runners up were Bruce Fraser, Steve Hurworth, Gai Fall and Dale Rabbett 112; followed closely by John Herd, Mike Howard, Col Roser and Rick Paff 110.
