The prize winners of Thursday bowls were John Andrews who was well supported by the two up and coming stars Ken Bryant and Paul Sheridan inflicting a 33-16 score line over Steve Brown, Nico Duynhoven and James Davison. Mike Sheely, Terry Davies and Neville Holstein gave George Wisemantel, Terry Carson and Chris Pritchard a similar bowls lesson only allowing them to win six ends for a 19-7 victory. And in a very social atmosphere on rinks one and two the visitors combined with a few locals when Terry and Stephen Higgins and Cleggy defeated Peter Jones, Jack and Pete 25-14. Mark, Alex (the unknown from Church Street) and Col defeated Youngy, Jason and Steve 20-19. Gordon Pritchard, Don Meheiloff, Robbie Bowden defeated Tony Tersteeg, Clive Redman and Norm Mcleod 29-22. Robert Hayes, Andrew Henderson, Alex Laurie defeated Kevin Burley, Brian Holstein and Kelso 18-13. In a close tussle Peter Sansom, Rob Heininger, Bob Jones and Graham Holstein defeated Kevin Everett, Stephen Hurworth, Mathew Higgins and Harry Cox 21-19.
