The league's northern division includes Gloucester and the table topping Stroud Raiders. No matches were played last weekend.
The Newcastle, Cessnock, Dungog, Lake Macquarie, Maitland, Muswellbrook, Port Stephens and Singleton local government areas are in lockdown. At this stage the lockdown will finish at 12.01am on Friday.
A spokesman for the league said the future of games this weekend depends on advice from NSW Health.
Stroud are due to play second placed Paterson at Paterson on Saturday. The Raiders lead the competition on 27 points from Paterson on 25.
It's been a lean year for Gloucester, with the Magpies in eighth place on eight points and are out of the hunt for a place in the playoffs. The Magpies are due to meet Hinton at Bert Gallagher Oval at Gloucester on Saturday for what would be the final game of the season, with semi-finals due to start on Saturday August 21.
Meanwhile Gloucester's Tayla Predebon will now have to wait until October to make her debut in the NRLW with the Sydney Roosters.
The competition has been delayed until October due to the COVID-19 pandemic, with the six week competition to be held as a standalone event.
Predebon, 21, is a front rower. She started playing rugby league while attending Gloucester High School. She now attends university in Newcastle. Predebon played with Central Coast Roosters in the NSW Women's Premiership this year and also represented Country against City before being signed by the Sydney Roosters. Six clubs, an increase on two from the opening three seasons of the NRLW, will contest the competition.
The NRLW is expected to get underway in the first weekend of October - in line with the NRL grand final. - with a triple-header likely to take place at a selected venue. The competition will run for six weeks with teams playing each other once before the top two sides advance to play for the grand final on the first weekend in November, according to a statement issued by the NRL.
