Rob Moore was the only golfer with a "6" in front of his net score for the Arkwood family Monthly Medal at the Gloucester Golf Club last Saturday. The medal is an Individual Stroke event with the medal going to the best net score across the field; there are net and gross trophies in three grades.

In a good-sized field of 34 there were nine players putting in a round with a score of net par or better on what was a generally overcast day and otherwise fair golfing conditions.

The monthly medal was won by Rob Moore with a net score of 67 the best net score of the day by a handy three strokes.

The net winners were Steve Macdonald 70 in A grade, Rob Moore 67 in B grade and Peter Markey 71 in C grade.

The best gross in A grade was that of Jamie Andrews 72; Doug Blanch 85 had the best gross in B grade and Peter Markey 85 doubled up in C grade to win the best gross score to match his net win in the grade.
