Wednesday was a beautiful day for the Gloucester Women's Golf Club's foursome championships which was played over 27 holes.

Congratulations to Myrelle Fraser and Ev Blanch, who easily won the day with a gross score of 147 from Jill Carson and Val Smith who were runners up with a gross score of 157 beating Margaret Dunn and Rhonda Nightingale on a countback for the runners up trophy. However Margaret and Rhonda were the 18 holes gross winners with 105 gross.
Nett champions were Alison Windeyer and Cheryl Goodrich with a score of 110.5 nett.
Ball competition winners were Alison Windeyer and Cheryl Goodrich 75 nett, Karen Howarth and Lesley Harrison 75.5 nett and the last balls going to Pam Paff and Anne Maggs.
It was nice to have so many play in the foursomes and pleasing to see our newer players having a win. It was also good to have Ann Mullen join us for presentation.
