Hunter New England Health (HNEH) said anyone who attended the venue on the specified dates and times are casual contacts (unless they have been notified by NSW Health that they are a close contact) and must get tested and isolate until a negative test result is received.

There was 4737 COVID tests conducted in the Mid Coast LGA from October 3 to October 10, with 1238 of those tests conducted on Tuesday, October 5 when the second COVID case in Purfleet was announced.
On Monday, October 11 it was announced the 91.1 per cent of people in the Mid Coast LGA had had their first vaccine and 65 per cent were fully vaccinated.
