Exercising due care, in mild conditions on Sunday October 17, in free-class fullbore at 300 metres Hayden Perrott ripped a sizzling 105.3/120, narrowly pipping Stuart Kerr on a ripping 97.1 and chased hard by Barry, Max and Todd on fine scores of 94.1, 91 and 80. While Steve Pennicuik undertook some load testing with his trusty .243, producing a fine overall result of 73.1.
In 50 metre rimfire, Laurie Smith, Doug Clarke and Neville Blanch ripped a three-way tie on a sizzling 238/250, chased hard by Karen Brown on a fine 225.
With conditions holding, next shoot will be on Sunday October 31, with fullbore at 400 metres from 8.30am and 25 metre rimfire from 11am.
Vaccine passport visitors are welcome on shoot days, with due care, and enquiries regarding club activities and firearms licensing may be made to Steve Pennicuik on 0427059717.
The next Firearms Licensing Course is planned for Saturday November 13 - with prior bookings essential. It is sincerely hoped that no change to COVID conditions will interfere with these plans.
