Gloucester CWA Evening Branch held its annual general meeting AGM recently. Congratulations to the re-elected executive officers: Rhonda Merchant as president, Anne Maggs as secretary and Denise Redman as treasurer. All other positions were filled.

Cooking was interesting over the month. The date and walnut rolls all tasted delicious. Rhonda Merchant 1st and Denise Hawdon 2nd. Junior member, Ava Finnemove was awarded 1st with her Orange Butter Cake.

Welcome to new members Kim Arney, Debbie Cook and Di Mansfield. Also a special welcome to our three junior members: Chloe Campbell, Ava Finnemove and Hannah McRae.

The Mid North Coast Group held the AGM recently at Port Macquarie. Gloucester Evening Branch members are well represented in various positions. Rhonda Merchant elected to group president, Denise Redman as group treasurer, Colleen Yates as vice president, Barbara Reichert as cookery officer and Donna Kemp as welfare officer. The MNC Group has 20 branches from Nambucca Heads to Bulahdelah.

Our Bric-a-brac sale will be held on Saturday November 6. Be early don't miss the delicious cooking, books, plants and much more.

For the November meeting, we are asked to bake a rich fruit cake and a steamed plum pudding so will be ready for Christmas.

Next meeting will be held at the CWA rooms on Thursday November 11, commencing at 7pm. All welcome.
