One of five young men initially accused of murdering a teenager at a Sydney house party has pleaded guilty to manslaughter.
His four co-accused pleaded guilty to affray on Friday as the group was due to face trial in the NSW Supreme Court.
Alex Ioane, 18, died in hospital after he was found with serious head injuries following a brawl outside a home at Ingleburn on May 24, 2019.
Justice David Davies listed the five men's sentence hearing for September 15 and 16.
Bail applications for three of them will be heard on July 6.
A 20-year-old man, who cannot be named as he was a juvenile at the time, pleaded guilty to manslaughter.
Another 20-year-old, also a juvenile at the time, pleaded guilty to affray.
Mateaki Taumalolo, 21, Suliasi Taumalolo, 23, and Sione Fieilo Taulepa Mayol, 25, also pleaded guilty to affray.
Police at the time said the victim had been kicked and stomped on.
