The film ‘Koori Elders: Stories from Past to Present’ features sisters Connie Fitzgerald and Nina and Joyce Hardy along with Aunty Norma Fisher and Uncle Jim Clarke talking about aspects of their childhood, working lives and expectations for future generations of indigenous youth.
The half-hour film was shot as part of a project by young film-maker Joel Wenitong through his work with the Office of Aboriginal Affairs.
Films starring Aboriginal elders from Karuah and Taree were also produced as part of the project.
