Organisers are tipping a massive crowd through the gates of Stroud Showground for two bone-jarring, feet-stomping days of high octane rodeo action.
Campdraft events will take place on both Friday and Saturday.
The junior rodeo, to take place from 5.30pm on Friday will feature bull and steer riding as well as barrel racing.
The main event will get underway from 1pm on Saturday with a full program of events from bronc riding, to steer wrestling, roping to bull riding.
The Stroud Rodeo has been a proud supporter of the Hunter Medical Research Institute for many years, raising more than $350,000 for the service and other charities.
“Where possible we try and support different causes,” secretary Kathy Dennis said.
There will be live entertainment provided by Roughstock, as well as a fully licensed bar and food outlets operating throughout the day.
The cost is $15 while children under 15 are $6.
