The riders were split into four groups and instructed in sporting, drafting, mechanical cow and cut out techniques.
The highlight for all was Kendal instructing the kids on how to draft using the bison, which in some cases were larger than horse and rider.
For many of the younger riders this was their first opportunity to ride in the camp and complete a course chasing bison.
All riders were carefully assessed and guided by Kendal and his hard-working and talented daughters.
Thanks also to Wayne Murray for his wealth of knowledge and all of the dedicated instructors and parents that made this weekend such a great success.
Judging by the smiles on the faces of the riders’ all had a fantastic time and achieved great results.
The next Gloucester Pony Club instruction day is on this Sunday, March 9 at the Gloucester Showground.
