Curtis played with the Gloucester Magpies before moving to Forster Tuncurry at the age of 12 when he started playing with the Hawks.
Understandably, the Gloucester community is right behind the fundraising efforts to support Curtis and his family in the long road of recovery ahead of them.
Young Magpies juniors will travel to Harry Elliot Oval in Tuncurry on Monday for the filming.
