Higgins was near unstoppable against a makeshift bowling line-up, partnering with Coen Durbidge for an opening stand of 120.

Reynolds (88 not out) guided Cavs to 5-314 from the allotted 40 overs, leaving Stroud with a mountain to climb for victory.
Stroud was 5-82 in response when a fast-moving summer storm stopped play in the 20th over.

Rawdon Vale was teetering at 4-99 when rain stopped play in the 23rd over - Nick Clarke top-scoring with 31.

35s destroy Hastings
GLOUCESTER is off to a winning start in the Mid North Coast over 35s cricket competition with a comprehensive thrashing of Hastings Oxley Thunder at Laurieton on Sunday.
Batting first Gloucester stumbled to a mediocre total of 113 with key contributions from Dallas Schultz (38) and Adam Cameron (16).
Glenn Kemp was the chief destroyer for Hastings, finishing with figures of 4-32 from his 10-over stint as Gloucester was bowled out in the 35th over.
While batting proved difficult, bowling was almost too easy with Hastings dismissed for a paltry total of 50 in response.
Just two batsmen made it into double figures for the home side, with five of the Hastings batsmen dismissed for ducks.
Jamie Andrews with five wickets and Brett Radford, with two, ran through the Hastings line-up to secure an easy win for the visitors.
