Harry Clarke captained the side while James McLeod took three wickets in the final to help Manning win the shield.
Two other players with Gloucester connections were also members of the winning team.
Alex Slade is the son of former Gloucester cricketer Ray Slade while Forster’s Liam Simpson is the son of former Gloucester girl Mellissa Adams and grandson to Kevin and Lorraine Adams.
The final was played at the Cedar Party Reserve on December 7 with Manning winning the toss and electing to bat.
The side managed to overcome a good all-round bowling and fielding effort by Macleay and batted out the allocated 50 overs to finish on 7-226.
Harry Croker top-scored with 72 and Clarke made 67 in a fabulous third wicket partnership of 128.
Alex Slade 21 not out, Hayden Essery 13 and Mitch Black 10 were the other main contributors.
Manning struck with the first ball bowled when the sides re-emerged after lunch and Macleay never recovered.
Josh MacTaggart and Harry Croker opened the attack with their combined eight-over spell restricting Macleay to 11 runs for the loss of one wicket.
The first ball of the 43rd over saw the fall of the last Macleay wicket for 132.
McLeod finished with 3-22, Josh MacTaggart 2-5, Essery 2-21, Simpson 1- 12, Croker 1-13 and Clarke 1-20.
Croker completed a man of the match performance with the keeper’s gloves in the middle session of play, taking four catches and completing a stumping.
The shield will remain in the possession of skipper Clarke until next season.
