Sewing machines and glue guns have been out in force to ensure the children of the nation are in fighting form for National Book Week. And boy has the hard work paid off. Social media lit up with costumes as traditional as the The Very Hungry Caterpillar and Where's Wally to The Thirteen Tree House and even an Elsa (from Frozen).
From pirates to crayons, it seemed anything loosely connected to the printed word was allowable, all in the name of getting kids to read. Here are some of the best costumes we found on social media.
So what did you send your kid to school as this week? What was the best costume you saw?
Plenty of Harry's out in force. But where's the true hero, Hermione?
