Two prizes are up for contention, and behind the scenes work has already begun for many and it is hoped competition will be fierce but jolly.

Though not competing itself due to the obvious conflict of interest, the Gloucester Advocate has enlisted a bit of help from some local elves from Gloucester Preschool and Barrington Street Preschool and Long Day Care Centre. A papier mache nativity scene with Christmas baubles and decorations to match will hopefully soon set the scene across the large window.
Judging for windows elsewhere will begin on Friday December 18, with the winner announced in the Christmas edition on Wednesday December 23. Prizes include a half page advertisement in the Gloucester Advocate and a local business vouchers.
