MID North Coast Rugby Union chief executive Bob Wilson said there is a possibility that junior games could be played 'in a couple of age groups' in the Lower North Coast competition next year.

Mr Wilson did not indicate what the grades may be or what clubs would be involved.
However, Mr Wilson has moved to allay fears that about the viability of the senior competition by assuring that six sides will be involved in 2016.
Seven played this year, however newcomers Wauchope have opted to move into the Mid North Coast premiership. There were concerns about the future of the Tea Gardens-based Myall Lakes club, but Mr Wilson said the Mudcrabs would again be part of the competition next year.
Old Bar Clams have struggled for the past two seasons but assure they'll be starters again. Premiers Forster-Tuncurry, grand finalists Gloucester, Manning Ratz and Wallamba will be the other clubs.
Last month rugby official Scott Burley from Taree said he believes there must be moves to start junior rugby in the Lower North Coast area to ensure the long term viability of the code here.
