Game 3 was between Autolec and Hunter Special Vehicles, Autolec had an exceptional game with HSV having their 2 better players out, Dawn Zuingulis filled in.
Autolec was too strong scoring 16 goals to 1.
Goals scored this week were Joseph 1, Sam 2, Jonas 3, Kaitlyn 1, Tylah 2, Ruben 1, Dawn 1, Jacob 2 and Brennan. Sorry for the confusion parents, this has now been rectified.
Scorpions Tame Wildcats in Wet Weather
The Drifta Camping and 4WD 13s team played under wet conditions against Taree Wildcats at their home ground at Omaru Park this week, which saw a few messy passes from both teams as the weather set in.
Once the team became accustomed to the wet conditions, the fluency in play began with Aiden, Josh and Isaac peppering their goalie with many balls on target.
Finding a weak spot in Taree's defensive line, Zeke saw an opportunity to score our first goal with a great breakaway, quickly followed up by Xander scoring two more goals.
Kelly and Aiden worked well together in the midfield along with Isaac, as he made a run towards goal from a corner throw, only to find the ball in the keepers hands.
Tristyn showed great confidence making some solid one on one tackles, while Joseph pushed on tirelessly making the Wildcats work for the ball.
Great defensive work from the back line of Hayden and Jack kept our goalie Sam remaining calm, with very little to do.
Josh and Kelly kept their keeper under pressure before half time with a handful of shots, though it was Kayden who took us in to half time with a 4 - 0 lead.
Isaac had a stint in goals for the second half, allowing Sam to show off his sharp passing skills putting the ball through to Aiden and Xander, helping Josh to score an exceptional goal.
A kick from the corner flag by Josh saw the ball narrowly scoot past the post, along with some more chances from Lane and Kayden.
Nicely assisted by Kelly, Zeke scored our 6th goal and soon after he added to the score line again, claiming a hat trick for the day.
Lane brought another ball forward, scraping in just before the whistle, scoring our last goal for the day.
Dynamic defence from Harrison, Jack and Hayden kept the ball away from the Taree goals throughout the game, providing us with a clean sheet.
Next week sees us at home against the Pacific Palms Panthers at 10:00am
