Greg Smith from Forster Film Festival, taught the 10 students basic film techniques on Thursday, September 29.
The focus of the day was around interviewing a person; with students taking turns asking questions, working the camera and being interviewed.
Many brought their own devices and were able to film bits and pieces with their own individual flair.
They went around town asking people, “What do you like most about living in Gloucester?”
The film created in the workshops will feature in a short movie to be presented with a series of short films later in the year: “Gloucester… So much to offer.”
The second workshop is being held on Thursday, October 6.
Workshops are supported by Regional Arts NSW through their Country Arts Support Program.
