The competition was held over 10 rounds, played during February and March. The district takes in clubs from Gloucester to Harrington.
After the 10 year dry spell, the players gathered with other members of the district, for the ceremonial unfurling of the flag, on Wednesday, May 17 at the Gloucester Bowling Club.
Members of the district executive also attended, including president Kay Lewis, secretary Julie Scott and match chair Gwen Symes.
The executives completed the ceremony by presenting each team member with a pennant pin.
Team members were Bev Germon, Val Pritchard, Margaret Andrews and Pat Cox; Paula Standen, Jan Jones, Cheryl West and Bev Murray.
A few games of social bowls followed the ceremony.
