The Friends of St John’s, Stroud, are delighted to announce that Newcastle’s Waratah Male Voice Choir are back by popular demand to present a very special concert in the great acoustic of Stroud’s historic St John’s Anglican Church.

Stroud Brass will present a talented quintet of players performing arrangements by Colin Newham written especially for this concert.
Stroud Crowd Choir, under director Anne Frost, are also preparing a special treat for us.
The proceeds from the concert support the on-going conservation of the historic St John’s church, rectory and parish hall. The Friends of St John’s are most grateful to these musicians for giving so generously of their time and talent.
The Sunday Afternoon Concert takes takes place on Sunday, August 6 from 2pm at St John’s Anglican Church, 83 Cowper Street, Stroud.
Tickets: adult $25, child $10, (afternoon tea included) and are available from Stroud Pharmacy, Stroud Post Office, or at the door on the day.
