2017 Manning Art Prize: Naked and Nude finalists announced

Manning Regional Art Gallery has announced finalists in the 2017 Manning Art Prize.

In its 26th year the biennial art prize has once again asked artists to explore the concept of Naked and Nude.

The original idea for Naked and Nude was suggested by art critic, John McDonald who is again judging the award. 

Prize money totals $20,000, with the major acquisitive prize of $16,000, second prize $3000 and People’s Choice Award $1000.

Works by finalists will be on exhibition from September 2 to October 15. The gala opening and announcement of winners will take place on September 2.
