Bucketts Way Neighbourhood Group has received a handmade quilt to help raise funds for domestic violence prevention and awareness.

The extra width, queen size, intricate quilt was made and donated anonymously by a person how has been touched by the affects of domestic violence.

It’s a hand crafted “Heirloom Quilt” made from Valley of the Kings Jewel 100 per cent cotton fabric and is fully washable.

Tickets have been printed and are on sale for $2 each.

The quilt is on display in the window Southern Belle Hairdresser on 63 Church Street, Gloucester.

Feel free to come down and check out this amazing creation and while you are there you can purchase some raffle tickets.

Tickets will continue be on sale until the draw is done on White Ribbon Day on November 25.

Pick up your tickets from Southern Belle Hairdresser or the BWNG office at 88 King Street, Gloucester, across from the MidCoast Council building.
