Bowden finished with 6-11 from a seven-over blitz, including a spell that yielded five wickets while conceding just three runs.
Even more remarkably, all six of his victims were bowled.
Nowendoc lost their last six wickets for 10 runs, collapsing from 3-60 to all out for 70. Earlier, Cavaliers struggled to 164 after a late batting collapse.
After winning the toss and electing to bat on a belter of a pitch, skipper Mathew Higgins and opener Todd Ritter had the side racing along at better than a run a ball.
Higgins was the first to go, falling to the bowling of Dave Rushworth in the 12th over for a quick-fire 41.
Ritter (31) lost his wicket soon after, but at 2-90 and with plenty of batting to come Cavaliers looked set for a hefty total.
But the middle order failed to fire with Ryan Yates (30) the only batsman to offer resistance.
Some late big hitting by Ben Reynolds (17) helped push Cavs total past 160.
Paul Carey (3-14 from seven) and B Holstein (3-25 from eight) were the best of the Nowendoc bowlers.
In Saturday’s other match ladder leaders Rawdon Vale posted a 30-run victory against Stroud.
Batting first Rawdon Vale posted a respectable 157 thanks largely to
contributions from Steve Bignell (25), Mick Fraser and Tony Kingston (both 22).
Scott Edwards claimed 2-12 while Mick Carter finished with 2-28.
In reply, Stroud could only manager 127 with Phil Ince (32) and Dallas Shultz (28) the main contributors.
Brett Radford finished with 3-25 while Adam Cameron claimed 2-11.
