THIEVES have broken into the Gloucester tip, stealing car parts and copper wire.
Between 5pm on March 4 and 7.30am on March 5 the thieves forced entry to the workshop shed located on the grounds of the Gloucester Waste Management and Recycling Centre.
Entry was gained through forcing a locked roller door up and outwards off its tracks.
The offenders stole 20 car radiator cores, six car batteries and a small roll of copper wire.
The thieves exited the building via the main door.
The offenders used trolleys to move the stolen goods from the workshop back to the main road.
Crime scene attended the landfill site and recovered fingerprints and blood samples.

Man and woman charged after domestic dispute
POLICE have charged a man and a woman following a domestic dispute at Bakers Creek.
Police attended a rural residence early last Tuesday to find a 53-year-old woman suffering from a bloodied left eyebrow.
Following a discussion with the woman, police arrested a 54-year-old man at the scene and charged him with assault.
The accused will appear in Taree Local Court on April 1.
The 53-year-old woman was also arrested by police shortly after her release from hospital on charges including failure to appear at court, breaching an apprehended domestic violence (AVO) order and breaching bail.
The AVO prevented the woman from attending the Bakers Creek property and related to a previous domestic incident in which she had been the offender.
The woman appeared before Forster Local Court and was released on conditional bail.
She is due to face Taree Local Court on April 15.
Woman arrested following assault
A GLOUCESTER woman has been charged with assault after police were called to a domestic dispute at a home on Ravenshaw St on March 6.
Officers arrested a 37-year-old woman who was later charged with assault and malicious damage.
Police allege the woman smashed a window at the house and damaged other property inside the home, following an argument with her partner.
The accused was allegedly moderately affected by alcohol at the time. The woman was also accused of assaulting a child at the home.
She will appear in Taree Local Court on April 1.
Rail property damaged
POLICE are seeking information after three alloy locks were cut from a signal box near the railway line at Bulliac.
The incident is believed to have occurred sometime between 9am on March 3 and 11am on March 10.
The matter was reported to police by Australian Rail Track Corporation officials.
No other damage was reported.
The value of the locks was about $120.
Teen to face court over mountain bike theft
POLICE have charged a Gloucester teen with theft after a mountain bike was stolen from a carport on Church St on March 8.
On Thursday police attended a home on Tyrell St and recovered the stolen bike from the backyard.
A 19-year-old man attended Gloucester Police Station last Friday and told officers he took the bike and planned to spray paint it.
The teenager was charged with stealing and will appear in Gloucester Local Court on April 16.
