Entrants in the challenge will compete in two-handed snaffle bit cutting and ‘dry work’ will include lead changes and roll-backs in a working horse pattern.
The current leader in the futurity section for horses under five years of age is Adam Wilson.
Adam will miss round two as he is travelling to the USA. This will open the door for other competitors to step-up in the race for highest progressive points in the four round contest.
Round two of the encouragement event will see two new competitors enter the field looking for round money and aiming to put pressure on the leading contenders for overall placings.
The junior and juvenile riders will commence their competition in earnest after being given instruction in round one.
