Josh Salter, Matthew Reardon and Greg McCreanor wowed audiences in 2013 and will return to do it all again this year.
Accompanying the talented singers are two sopranos new to Opera in the Church.
Twenty-three year old lyric soprano Nikki Hill completed a Bachelor of Music and a Postgraduate Certificate of Music Studies at the Queensland Conservatorium.
Nikki was the recipient of the Ruskin Opera Award and the Mel and Nina Waters Award for 2014 and has recently been accepted into the Lisa Gasteen National Opera School.
Mezzo soprano Jermaine Chau is currently studying opera at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music and will make her Opera in the Church debut this year.
Jermaine is co-founder of Blush Opera and has been selected for the Lisa Gasteen National Summer School in November to further her learning.
Both women have had numerous roles in musicals, with Nikki playing the role of the frog in the Queensland Conservatorium’s Cunning Little Vixen and Jermaine taking on the role of Cecilia in Adamo’s Little Women.
The concerts will commence at 7.30pm on Friday and Saturday, August 22 and 23 with the Uniting Church ladies serving a delicious supper during the interval.
Tickets are $35 each and can be purchased from either Gloucester Health Foods or Webbs Real Estate.
