Dave was presented with his award by new club president Wayne Maddalena at the club’s annual general meeting on September 25.
Mann has been a club member for more than 40 years and played an instrumental role in the country club’s move to its new course.
“He is still an A grade golfer and a valued member of the match committee,” Maddalena said.
At the club’s AGM, the outgoing president Ann Mullen paid special thanks to Allan Wall for his many hours volunteering in the golf shop and his many assistants.
Others to gain Ann’s praise included Warren Green and Lyndsay Ribbons, Kay and Col Holstein, Jim Dunn and Derek Bardwell for their contributions towards the smooth running of the club.
Special mention was made also of Sandra Lawler’s organisation as bar manager and the outgoing board for their support through the recent restaurant negotiations.
All positions for the new board were filled: president Wayne Maddalena; vice president Doug Blanch; treasurer Rob Moore; club captain Roy Crichton; directors Sandy Mason, Billy Mansfield, Tom Dare and Matt Groves.
