Lana Rees, her sister Lacie and mum Melinda Bowden all had hair down to their hips.
While seven-year-old Lana has had a couple of trims, Lacie, five, had never had her hair cut at all.
“And I’ve been growing my hair for four years and decided it was time to get it cut,” Melinda said.
“I knew all about Pantene Beautiful Lengths who ask for donated hair so it can be made into wigs for people who have lost their locks through treatment.
“Lana hates having her hair brushed and when I told her I was getting mine cut and donating it, she decided to do it as well.”
Pantene Beautiful Lengths aims to inspire women to grow, cut and donate their hair to be turned into real-hair wigs for women undergoing cancer treatment.
