It’s something the Mudgee boy has done since he could walk, said his mum, Alicia.
“It wasn’t encouraged at all – he was stealing his brother’s whip when he was 10 months old and we just had to compromise,” she said.
“We definitely know he’s the youngest in Australia to crack two stock whips and we’ve been told he’s the youngest in the world.”
The whip-cracking toddler was a crowd favourite at the Deni Ute Muster, alongside bullriding and a very sluggish Australian Circle Work Championships.
Rob Dowse of Cranbourne claimed the title with his 1979 HZ Holden Ute and “a lot of right foot”.
“I won the heat up against about 40 others,” he said.
“I didn’t get bogged, but pretty much all the Fords did.
“I’m covered in mud, the inside and and outside of my car is all covered too.”
