Money for this luncheon is raised through the year with small events; such as the morning tea being held on Tuesday, October 25 at 9.30am at June’s Place. It’s $10.00 per person.
There will be a raffle for a $50 meat voucher drawn on the day, as well as lucky door and lucky chair prizes.
Tickets can be purchased at June’s Place, Darrel’s Butchery and Milady Salon. We will be having a couple of sausage sizzles. One at the end of October and one in November as well.
The Christmas lunch is not only funded by these small events, but also by generous individuals that have donated to our past luncheons.
At this time, I would like to thank them all very much, not just for donations of money or goods but of time as well, having help on the day makes everything run much smoother.
If you are new to the area or even lived here a long time and are by yourself on Christmas Day, come along and meet new friends or catch up with old friends.
Over the past three years, we have had many come along to meet others that may find themselves needing a bit of company on Christmas Day.
