The Chief of Defence Force Parade marked the completion of initial military training for over 320 of the Australian Defence Force’s newest officer recruits before they commence their university studies at the Australian Defence Course Academy in Canberra.
Chief of Defence, Air Chief Marshall Mark Binskin AC officially welcomed the Year One Officer cadets and midshipmen in the pouring rain after they had paraded before a large and proud crowd of parents and friends.
Between raindrops, Coen and the 800 other marchers looked resplendent in their red and white, drip dry uniforms as they manoeuvred across the parade ground and unleashed butterflies in their proud families hearts.
