Two steers bred by James and Ted Laurie of Knowla Livestock, Moppy headed to Sydney in January to take up residence at the school.
Year 11 boarder, Georgia has been instrumental in setting up a livestock program at the college.
Knowla Muffin and Knowla Mervin went on to perform exceptionally well at the show. Knowla Muffin won the School Steer Middle weight class and went on to win the Champion School Steer of Show.
Muffin who weighed 477kg at 12 months of age sold to Auburn Meadow Meats, Rosebay, for an amazing and sale topping $10.20 per kg. Muffin was also selected for the Angus Stan Hill team and won a bronze medal on the hook.
Knowla Mervin was successful on the hook being awarded a Silver medal and scored an outstanding 90 points in the carcass competition only half a point off a gold.
