On Wednesday, December 13, year six students from St. Joseph's Primary School Gloucester were farewelled as part of the school's annual presentation night.

The school community participated in a graduation mass, with students, parents, staff and Father Peter presiding over the mass.
A highlight of the mass was a beautiful candle lighting ceremony, where candles were passed on from kindergarten students to their year 6 buddies.
The school congratulates Spencer Muddle, Jorja Beard, Emma Cummins-Ninness, Chelsi Harrison, Anthony Schultz and John Battle on their primary school achievements and wish them all the best for high school.
Following the mass, an award ceremony and celebration of student achievements over past the year took place in the school hall.
Each child received an award for their unique contribution to classroom life and some children were awarded for their extra effort in academic and sporting areas.
Awards winners:
- Christian Leaderhsip: Ruby Blanchard, Sienna Bembrick and Anthony Schultz.
- English Award: Cooper Allan, Xanthe Fenning, Arianna Virzi-Hartigan, Shauni Muddle, Kaysha Smith, William Maslen and Jorja Beard.
- Mathematics Award: Bradley Watt, Nicholas Maslen, Arianna Virzi-Hartigan, Kamryn Beard, Lara Maslen, William Maslen and Jorja Beard.
- Junior Sport Champion: Lara Maslen and Angus Burke.
- Senior Sport Champion: Jorja Beard and Anthony Schultz.
- Athlete with Disability Champion: Matthew Reeves-Roach.
