After a quiet 2017, Gloucester Gymnastic Club is very proud to be back up and running for 2018.
The club is holding a free ‘come and try gymnastics day’ on Wednesday, February 7 to allow children and parents to come along and give it a go.
As sessions are ability based, this will also allow the club to determine classes.
Finding a coach for the club in 2017 proved to be quite difficult but the club is happy to say that its now secured a local coach to run classes each week.
“Even though the club was inactive during 2017, we did have a very successful year of fundraising and would like to thank all the local businesses that have been so supportive of our club,” president Kim Haschek said.
“Whether it be running fundraising events or providing raffle prize donations, we are very grateful.”
Gloucester Gymnastics Club is also now registered as an Active Kids Provider; this means the club will be able to accept Active Kids Vouchers to assist with membership costs.
All children enrolled in school will be eligible for a $100 Active Kids Voucher, through the NSW Office of Sport.
