The forum will be held at the Ramada Resort at Diamond Beach on Wednesday, March 7.
Mayor West will talk about important issues that affect their community’s public infrastructure and engineering services.
The institute is a not-for-profit association whose mission is to enhance the quality of life in NSW communities through excellence in public works excellence particularly in New South Wales.
This year will be their ninth year of delivering annual regional forums to rural, regional and metropolitan public works professionals across NSW.
The forum is an all-day program where public work professionals can learn and be educated by who provides expertise on current industry issues, latest industry advancements, innovative solutions that can benefit them and their council, and insights into local engineering projects.
The forums are also an opportunity for attendees to network and discuss with like-minded and passionate peers and suppliers on important local issues, local projects and best practice in public works and engineering services that can contribute to enhancing the future of NSW communities.
The forums are of particular interest to engineers, public works managers, supervisors, consulting engineers, consultants, councillors, technical staff, contractors, group managers, general managers, directors and cadets.
