Nominations for Sport Star, Local Legend and Hall of Fame categories for this year’s Sports Awards presentation have begun to trickle in. The committee is expecting many more and has extending the closing date to Friday, March 16.
Completed nominations can be handed to any committee member or given to Tracey Stewart at council. Also ensure a digital photo is provided.
Tickets for the Saturday, May 12 Sports Awards at Gloucester Soldiers Club go on sale Monday, March 12 at EnDee Designs (Furniture One) on Church Street.
Holders of perpetual trophies received at last year’s awards night are asked to return them as soon as possible so that they can be prepared for this year’s awards. These can be left with any committee member or handed directly to John Hughes at Barrington Trophies.
