Manager Growth, Economic Development and Tourism, Deb Tuckerman, manager Strategic Planning, Roger Busby and Senior Strategic Planner, Alex Macvean will talk about their roles and the process of bringing together the strategies of the three former councils into one set of documents.
Staff will also speak on the challenges of inheriting the former ‘blueprints’ and also the potential opportunities that may present as a result of identifying unique areas throughout the region. They are keen to encourage the community to engage with opportunities provided by council, to participate and have input into the development of these documents to accurately reflect the aspirations of the region.
The meeting is Wednesday, April 18, 7.30pm at Gloucester Bowling Club.
