Studio Spaces was a collaboration between the gallery and the Manning River Times and features 16 artists from the Mid North Coast.
The Amber Rooms features the work of four Newcastle artists inspired by the contents of the Amber Room, the pride and joy of the House of Romanov and a symbol of Russian and German greatness.
“From the gallery’s perspective it was very successful,” said director Rachel Piercy.
“Not only in terms of numbers of guests but also that we represented 20 significant regional artists, showcasing their amazing works.
“It has also been fantastic to work with Lauren and Scott from the Manning River Times to create something truly unique,” she added.
The exhibitions were officially opened by MidCoast Council mayor David West. Russell Saunders gave the Welcome to Country and played the didgeridoo as part of the proceedings.
