Tinonee levelled the score early in the second half, though Kelly was quick to put us back in the lead. A strong tackle on Hayden brought on a free kick, assisted by Aiden and Kayden providing Lane to score his second for the season. Kayden and Josh paired up well, along with Harrison, putting pressure on the goalie, but were unlucky not to put any into the net, while the strong full back line of Bailey, Isaac M, Jack and Tristyn kept the Eagles at bay. Newcomer Cody Howard drilled in a fantastic ball just moments before the full time whistle, bringing the final score to 4-1. A great game this week boys, well done.

Hunter Special Vehicles (white) vs. Gloucester Farmer’s Markets (yellow)
The first game of the day saw full teams take the field and some presence of positional play. The Marks brothers were keen to keep up the competition from last week, with both boys working hard for their respective teams. Lucas penetrated the field well for White but was frustrated by the dogged defence of Nick Maggs who was determined to stop any goals. Jess played valiantly for White in goals, but the fancy footwork of Quinlan and Tyler made stopping goals difficult. An entertaining game to watch. Final score 5-0 to Yellow.
Lovey’s IGA (Red) vs. Gloucester BlueLight (Green). As the day heated up, so did the competition with a very even match between these two teams. Nicholas and Brennan both made some great breaks for their teams and managed to score 4 and 2 goals respectively. Hugo was great in goals for Red, making Green work hard for their goals. Positional play was evident in this game, and the teams are already beginning to work together on the field. Another exciting game to watch, final score 5-5.
Autolec Gloucester (Dark Blue) vs. Gloucester Barrington Pest Control (Maroon). This game was a fast-paced match, with the small but speedy Bradley, Jake and Ruben running all over the park. Lily and Bree worked well together in defence for Maroon, supporting Blake in goals. The final score did not reflect the level of intensity of this game, with the ball going back and forth down the field constantly. Final score 9-1 to Dark Blue.
