The first event is the screening of "Sacrifice Zone" on Thursday, May 10 at the Gloucester Senior Citizens Centre, 30 Hume Street.
Award winning filmmakers David Lowe and Eve Jeffery devoted 2017 to the making of a film they hope will be a game changer in the fight against coal seam gas (CSG) not only in NSW and Australia, but across the globe. The film is a response to South Australian mining company Santos which is seeking government approval to develop a gasfield in the Narrabri area in northwest NSW.
The evening begins at 6.30pm, bring supper to share. There will be tea and coffee available.
The GRL court appeal is due to be heard in the Land and Environment Court from August 13 to 31, 2018.
