At the May meeting, Gloucester Country Women’s Association (CWA) evening branch members discussed the recent CWA of NSW State Conference.
Nearly 700 members throughout New South Wales (NSW) attended to vote on important resolutions for CWA to lobby the Government for the benefit of families in NSW.
Congratulations to Denise Hawdon and Barbara Reichert, both received third place for their cooking, a great achievement as all cakes were of high standard at State level.
Thanks to all who purchased tickets in our Mother’s Day raffle the basket of goodies was won by Norma Relf.
All enjoyed the pot luck dinner using our primary product pomegranates, all delicious dishes.
The CWA Young Women’s Group met last Friday.
All who attened enjoyed a cooking demonstration and tips on cooking with Denise Hawdon, and all tasted the cooking with a cuppa.
The young women will meet next on Friday, June 8.
For next meeting of the evening branch members are asked to bake the Donna Latter Chocolate Cake.

Next meeting will be held at the CWA rooms on Thursday, June 14 commencing at 7pm.
