The Taree Pun-Jing Bonsai and Suiseki Club members are inviting everyone interested in the art of bonsai to an open day at Club Taree on Saturday, May 26 from 10am to 3pm.
Club members will be displaying their bonsai trees and will be on hand to discuss the various aspects of the art of growing and caring for bonsai trees.
Everyone is welcome, admission is $2, and there will be lucky door prizes.
Also on hand and giving talks and demonstrations will be Ashley from Bonsai World on the Central Coast.
Ashley has had a passion for bonsai since his school days and frequently visits China, USA and Japan to study new developments.
He will be bringing with him a large selection of bonsai plants and will be available to answer questions on the art of growing, potting, shaping and pruning.
