On May 25, Gloucester played Port Macquarie at Taree in the last of Gloucester's MNCCC inter club competition games.
Both doubles and singles were played, with twenty-four games in all. Gloucester was host club. The Gloucester team comprised Brenda Pennicuik, Ken Gosson, Yvonne Bagnall, Al Minis, Elynne Graham, Robyn Roberts, Judy Hopkins, Iris Usback, Norma Slade and Bev Murray.
Brenda, Yvonne, Ken, Norma and Judy all had three wins from four games played, Elynne two from three and Bev Murray two from two games played.
It was a big win for Gloucester on the day, 15 games to 9.
Gloucester has now won all three games in this competition, having earlier defeated both Forster and Taree.
Two players are also close to triggering their handicaps.
