The grand final was held on Saturday September 22 with the Sharks versing the Panthers in an exciting game.
Panthers were a couple of players short and had to change their player positions slightly to try and balance out the see of green shirts in front of them.
Sharks keeping the ball in their half for most of the match, with Panthers working overtime in defence.
Both teams played extremely well with Sharks coming away the winners on the day with a score of 4 to 1.
Players from the other teams had a great time challenging the parents; there was plenty of friendly ‘competition’ during this match.
Players and supporters gathered and enjoyed the barbecue whilr they awaited the presentation to commence.
This year was the first year that Minky hockey was introduced, and proved to be not only very popular, but very successful.
The players all showing such enthusiasm and after taking on board all of the training they were then transferred into a team.
Well done to the older players who showed such great support of these younger players and were willing to help them in any way during the game.

Player of the Year: Dean Germon and Nick Maslen.
Club person of the Year: Ollie Rinkin.
Thank you to all of the players and families who came along and showed your support, not only on Saturday, but throughout the season. This year we were lucky enough to receive a kitchen, kindly donated by Nat Simshauser and family – thanks to Warren Beggs and all of the parents and kids who came along for the working bee – the kitchen looks absolutely fantastic.
