Roads and Maritime Services will carry out essential maintenance work on Barrington Bridge over Barrington River to ensure continued safe operation.
Work will involve bolt tightening, timber replacement and the installation of a steel plate on the bridge deck.
Work will be carried out between 7am and 5pm on weekdays from Thursday October 25 to Friday November 9, weather permitting.
Traffic control and a reduced speed limit of 40km/h will be in place for the safety of workers and motorists.
On Thursday October 25, scaffolding will be installed on the bridge and motorists should allow up to 15 minutes extra travel time.
From Tuesday October 30, motorists should allow up to five minutes extra travel time.
Motorists are advised to drive to the conditions, and follow the directions of signs and traffic control.
